IMPORTANT ACTION REQUIRED: Greek Short Term Rental Compliance & Our Communal Insurance Policies
Dear fellow owners,
Firstly, this is a very important email so I ask you read it ASAP and look to respond quickly...........
As you are all aware, from October 2025 the Greek government introduced some new requirements for Short Term Rental properties.
A full summary of these new rules can be found by this link but you may have already been contacted directly by the Greek Government with full details.
Given that the KCRA maintain two separate insurance policies for Kalamaki Court (buildings/contents plus public liability) we now understand that a statement of full compliance to these regulations will need to be declared on both policy renewals going forward. Failure to do so may result in both our insurance policies being invalidated in the event of a claim regardless of which property is non-compliant.
On this basis we need all property owners to complete a short questionnaire so we can get a clear view on which of you will use your properties for personal use only & which will continue to receive short-term rental income. Please note for those of you who state you will remain on the register you will be asked a number of compliance statements which I ask you take care in answering.
The survey can be reached via the following link
Greek Short Term Rental Compliance – Fill in form
Please can you all ensure you respond no later than Friday 20th March
@Alan Stewart, we are aware of your upcoming sale, but we please ask you to respond as the current owner. We will approach the new owner later for the same statements
@Vince, can you please provide two separate responses - one for each of your properties
Many Thanks in advance
Craig Johnson
KCRA Chairman
